Four tubes from Electro-Harmonix. Choose between four EH 6CG7s or two Eh 6CG7s and two EH 6922s. The all 6CG7 offers the smoothest sound, while the 6CG7/6922 combination offers the lowest output impedance.

All the necessary resistors to populate the PCB. Resistor pack includes multiple values for the cathode resistors. Choose between two types: carbon-film, 5%, 1W resistors and metal-film, 1%, 1/2W resistors. At least 44 Resistors altogether. $10

Two Wima MKP10, polypropylene capacitors: 0.68µF & 0.33µF 630Vdc. Six electrolytic capacitors (four for heater element shunting and two high-frequency capacitors for optional cathode resistor bypassing). $10

Four ceramic PCB-mount tube sockets. The PCB was designed to hold these tube sockets.

New RTIE Audio polypropylene-film coupling capacitors. This is an amazing sleeper of a capacitor. It is made in the USA by RTI Electronics, a 27 year old company that is, as RTIE likes to say, "an industry leader in the design and manufacture of high quality audio/video Teflon capacitors." Which is true, as many high-end capacitors, no matter how labeled, are actually made by RTI Electronics. A huge upgrade in sonics over typical polypropylene coupling capacitors. (Obviously, the 12SX7 is not included, but shown to give a sense of the part's size.) $20 for two capacitors.

Two K42Y-2, 0.47µF, 500V, 10% PIO (paper-in-oil) coupling capacitors. Russian made and built to tight military specifications. Painted metal case houses foil/paper-in-oil capacitor. Here is one review from the web: "After extensive testing between Rob and myself on several MAX builds, it is apparent that this cap provides an optimum choice for use on the MAX - neutral, smooth mids and highs, with an extended but flat high frequency response, and no loss whatsoever in the bass frequencies." http://www.diyforums.org/MAX/MAXk42.php $10

Securely mount the PCB with these eight sets of stand-offs. Each set includes top shoulder-screws, bottom screw and two soft rubber o-rings. Might seem expensive, until you price each of the pieces at a hardware store. $8 for eight sets of stand-offs.

Need a rotary switch for switching between the two coupling capacitors? Four-pole, three-position, non-shorting switch and some hookup wire is all that is needed. All four coupling capacitors attach to the PCB and the two channels output connect to either coupling capacitor C1’s or C2’s or both capacitors in parallel. $6

The Select-1 switch and PCB makes wiring up a line stage amplifier easier. Two channels of three inputs (both hot and grounds) attach to the PCB and two outputs leave the PCB to the output jacks. When a line input is not selected, both its hot and ground are detached from the selector's output. $6
