Aikido printed circuit board for 5687 fans. This stereo Aikido PCB accepts the 5687 in the output tube position. The 5687 is a wonderful and relatively cheap tube that is a natural for driving high-impedance headphones and high-capacitance interconnects. Unfortunately, the 5687's pinout differs from the standard 9-pin dual-triode audio tube, such as the 6DJ8 and 12AU7, which means that this tube requires its own stereo Aikido PCB. Now, with this new printed circuit board, the 6CG7 (or 6DJ8 or 12AU7)can provide the gain, while the mighty 5687 does the heavy lifting.
The 5687 is pinout compatible with the 6900, 7044, 7119, 7370, and E182CC, so these tubes can be used in the output tube position as well.
A set of four 9-pin ceramic sockets is also available.
